A guide on our new traits, Dream and Rift!

Dream and Rift are breedable traits exclusive to Shadowlocke, and have more open design aesthetics than simple color change. Their rarity in the group is the same as Albino and Melanistic pokemon.

Dream Pokemon exhibit the following aesthetics:

- soft / bright / pastel colors
- soft features, including tactically placed fluff
- dreamy / whimsical themes
- insectlike traits (antennae, wings, etc. fully insectoid looking pokemon are not allowed outside of the bug type.)
- dream mist and/or sparkle trails coming off the body

Rift Pokemon exhibit the following aesthetics:

- mainly dark colors / saturated accent colors / glow accents
- spacelike themes (think nebulas, stardust and the void)
- crystalline growths (think necrozma), horns, spikes
- additional eyes, sharp claws
- stardust / void miasma coming off the body

These are not rigid, and many different stylizations can be accepted! However, the pokemon must still remain recognizable as their species and cannot infringe on other traits.

As with Ascended, Corrupted and Timefluted pokemon, Dream and Rift pokemon require a mandatory design check in order to be used in the group..
