Description A practice sketch that I actually didn't mess up for once. This is my fan character, Mr. Stevie Stapleton, for the game Bully (Canis Canem Edit)

Stevie's been my main RPC on the Bully Role-Play Forums ( [link] ) for almost two years now, but I figured I'd introduce him here on DA, since that's what all the cool kids are doing these days.

Quick bio;;
Stevie's a member of the bully clique, 14 years old, and is barely five feet tall. He's physically wimpy, so he's more of a sidekick to the bullies than a close friend, and often plays as the bait or a distraction during their escapades. He's not much of a fighter, and prefers to pull pranks and start rumors to bully people. Like the other bullies, Stevie likes to pick on nerds, but since most of them are bigger than he is, they're more than capable of fighting back.

He's also a compulsive liar, and likes stirring up trouble more than he likes telling the truth. Stevie's very observant, and likes to push people's buttons to see how they'll react, but he often misinterprets the little details that he catches, which leads him to wild conclusions. It's impossible to tell when Stevie is lying, joking, or being serious, because his tone of voice is constantly light and airy, and he always looks totally calm and sincere. He's almost never angry or upset - he's a concerningly chill kid.

If anyone would like to RP with Stevie at any point, just drop me a note, or you can head over to the RP Forum

He's adorable in a impish sort of way. I love it!
(Sorry I accidentally added him to my "fashion" collection when I meant to add him to people, got it fixed though. )

Thank you! "Impish" is the perfect way to describe him.

Oh man, Stevie grouped into anything fashion-related is really hilarious to me for some reason.
Yeah, boy, work those ratty sneakers and unironed clothes that you probably haven't changed out of for three days.

It's obvious you've put a lot of thought into this character. Every little detail falls into place, and I'd say he's well-developed. I haven't played Bully, but I have played other Rockstar games--it's basically GTA with a slingshot, right? I think he would fit right into the game's cast, seeing how Rockstar has always been good about their story lines.

Thank you very much! It's awesome that you think so, after just a little info dump. I must be doing something right

Haha, yeah, it's a lot like GTA for kids, but it's got a great storyline and dialogue. One of the things that drew me to it was the characters - there are no stock NPCs walking around and repeating each other, every single one has a name, personality, and even their own voice actor, even if they have no role in the story at all. So it's easy to slip in a fan character and have them fit in somewhere, without having to interfere with canon.

Wah, unexpected fangirl rant. Bully's a cool game, is what I'm saying

Wow! That's really something. I respect a game that goes into such detail, I don't see that a whole lot. Nowadays, most major games like to recycle due to time constraints. I think is a game I ought to get eventually. Thanks!

It really is And the game doesn't take itself too seriously, which is great - it's sort of a play off of those high school movies from the '80s and '90s, where the schoolkids get up to some ridiculous stuff to best the school bullies.

I swear, I'm not a spokesperson for Rockstar, I just love this game It's way too underrated. And the fandom could always use some more awesome artists <3

Be careful getting used copies of Bully: Scholarship Edition for the 360 (it's basically a remake of the game, with better graphics and some new missions and characters). There are some disks that just don't work, for some reason. The game's been out for a few years, though, so a lot of the bad disks might have gotten tossed out by now, but make sure to ask about it just in case.

The great thing about Rockstar is that even though a lot of their games use similar mechanics (you can jump from one game to the next with relative ease), they're so good at theming and storytelling that it feels like you're playing a different game entirely.

Thanks for telling me about the faulty discs. I usually buy the complete versions of things if I can. It usually saves me money from buying the DLC individually. I'll always make sure the copies I buy are refundable, but I doubt they'd have the bad discs out and about still. Though, I appreciate the heads up!
