WOOO how neat he is in your style! I really love that he looks more like a jack rabbit than what most people tend to draw him as! Very cool!

Hello Ms Cheese! hehe~ Yes I did actually reference hares (or jack rabbits as u said) instead of typical bunnies for this picture :3 I was thinking that he was an experienced and competent fighter... a hardy animal like the hare would be appropriate and meaningful ^__^ Thanks for your thoughts!

Them claws! You know I've handles a number of bunnies thanks to the cats (Most of them lived, thank goodness) and I was always amazed by the claws. What I was more awed by was their toes. Unlike dogs and cats they have fur on the bottom of their feet, and not paw pads. Far to cute.
I think Usagi might test his sword on me if I called him cute, though.

Hey Steffy~! How come you had to handle many bunnies? OnO Your cats actually bring them to you? I love the little details you notice XD I actually haven't been around rabbits enough (but would love to one day) and to know that they have fluffy feet is really cool ^.^ Do their claws really get very long? OnO like.. you've gotta trim them and everything on a regular basis?

We have this one HUGE kitty that does not bother with mice. She needs bigger prey. Some times she'd bring a bunny in and we'd find what was left of it the next morning, but most of the time she'd bring them in ant noon and just let them go in the living room.
I'm very good at catching wild bunnies now. >_>
And mice.
I could catch them in the wild, if I really had to.
THe live bunnies were always taken to the grave yard on the hill and let free.

I met the guy who created Usagi Yojimbo when I was a kid and still living in Hawaii. His character had just done a crossover with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV show so he did a book signing at one of the public libraries in town.
