For a very critical reason , I would like to take this opportunity to thank all future ers and ers of my works.

Ok, this here Disgusting Fakemon of mine has a rather complicated name spelling, so let me first teach you proper pronunciation. It's 'BEEEL'[long 'i' sound, and the pronunciation stress is here] - 'ze' [short 'e' sound, and somewhat French lol] - 'flight'. There you go, BEEEL-ze-flight. My Post-Halloween 2010 Fakemon Silhouette #3 , Bilzeflyt! Kudos to for guessing this correctly!

Now that we've conquered proper pronunciation, let me introduce to you my Bilzeflyt, Grubbie's evolution, and is the equivalent of Ariados, Ledian, and Kricketune! It is basically based on a fly and Beelzebub, a Semitic deity and, in Christian belief, one of the seven princes of Hell. The reference to Beelzebub, which name literally means "Lord of the Flies," directed me to make this generic Bug part-Dark, too, and then, everything fell into place, from the 'Disgusting' category, the Dex entry, and its moves and stats [even its inclusion in my Halloween roster].

Bilzeflyt has quite a huge bulk from being a Grubbie, allowing it to still use Pound and its pre-evo's moves, notably Rollout. It fires its Pin Missile from its unruly patches of hair, while it can Growl at and Leech Life enemies with its its hose-like mouthpart, or blowing Poison moves from it like Acid, Sludge, Toxic, and Gunk Shot. Its wings allow it to use Gust, Air Cutter, and U-Turn, and also produce Screech and Bug Buzz as well. And finally, being a Dark-typed Bug means being nasty in battle, hence the moves Double Team, Thief, Assurance, and Sucker Punch. Bilzeflyt can still have Gluttony as its Ability just like Grubbie, but a Grubbie with Shed Skin will evolve into a Bilzeflyt with Tinted Lens, somewhat more useful in battle since it doubles Bilzeflyt's "not very effective" moves.

Stat-wise, Bilzeflyt can be considered as a fast hitter, with that 95 Speed being its top stat, 10 points higher than Ledian's 85. Next is its 75 Attack, 15 points behind Ariados' top 90. It's Special Attack, in contrast, is the lowest among its two-staged Bug brethren, at 35. Bilzeflyt's 65 HP is second only to Kricketune's 77, its 55 Defense is second to Ariados' 70, and its 65 Special Defense is second to Ledian's whopping 110. Bilzeflyt's 390 total is the same as that of counterparts Ariados and Ledian, and is six points higher than Kricketune's.

As compared to the Long Leg, the Five Star, and the Cricket Pokémon Bugs, my Bilzeflyt seem to best them in Speed, while in general, my Disgusting Fakemon seem to come at close second with the other three Bugs' stats except for Special Attack. Bilzeflyt is a well-rounded Fakemon even for a generic two-staged Bug, that it can be a good Physical hit-and-runner in the Underused environment, with Poison and Dark moves plus U-Turn.

According to Bilzeflyt's Dex entry, "despite its hairy and unruly appearance, Bilzeflyt seem to have an appeal to certain Trainers." I, for one, adores it, and it's not because I made it, but because Bilzeflyt seem to be built to carry itself in battle, just like Ariados.

Bilzeflyt is mine!

You forgot Venomoth too. That's the way I see him anyway. Their stats are surprisingly close too, save for Bilzeflyt's Special Attack.
I REALLY don't know whether to cuddle it or get a huge Flyswatter or something. My only other gripe is that you could have given him six legs like Ledian, but since many Bug-types have fewer legs than their real world counterparts, I guess his design is otherwise okay.

Yeah, I was going for Venomoth power here with the moves, but with the stats of generic two-staged Bugs [Veno was more mid-late game and is kinda powerful with 450 stat total, I think ].

I'm glad you mentioned about the legs [thought noone cared so I didn't put it in the description]. Ledian and Ariados are the six-legged counterparts [if you count those two legs-ish thing on Ariados' back]. I respect their difference from other generic Bugs, so I went four-legged. I was actually considering six limbs for Bilzeflyt, but with such a round body, I thought four would be enough. Thanks for noticing though, you made me explain again.

And thanks again as always!

You're most welcome. I guess if the design is more conducive of something akin to Kricketune than Ledian, then another four-legged generic bug sounds about right.

Heh, with the fact that it looks badass and it's pre-evo is a cut fatty of a pillow, I'd definitely train this one. Plus, it's moveset is a pretty wide selection. By any chance, did you get the Beezlebub part from the LotF novel (Lord of the Flies)?

Nope, not from the novel. I was already into names of recognized angels and demons, and being the "Lord of the Flies" fits the bill. But yeah, I know of the novel, but my references were more manga-ish, like Beelzebub and 666 Satan or O-Parts Hunter .

Thanks a lot!
