EAGLIBRUTE, the Bird of Prey Pokémon. EAGLIBRUTE develops strong wings that can create strong GUST attacks. Its claws, however, are its main weapon of attack. It catches prey in a single quick swoop and then flies away for safety.

EDIT 05182010: Recolored the gray areas to remove glossiness and make them look softer. Also adjusted the shiny version to occupy the larger space on the lower right.

Eaglibrute and its evolution and pre-evo are my generic Normal/Flying type Pokémon. Eaglibrute might seem to be a Pidgeotto with Staravia's coloring, but I assure you that Eaglibrute is unique and different from those two. It can be found mid-to-late game in my hypothetical region despite eagles being endangered species in the real world. This is also one of the reasons for its conception, the rarity of real-world eagles, that Eaglibrute along with Eaglede and Eaglethug serve as tributes to eagles and other endangered birds of prey.

Eaglibrute is based on eagles, obviously, and Zorro, the nobleman-slash-masked-outlaw. Being the middle stage of Eaglede and Eaglethug, Eaglibrute is semi-powerful but still learns the same attacks as Eaglede, its unevolved form. However, being an Eaglibrute with functional wings and talons, it can now attack without the use of its beak. It has Dark as its third type, and can throw Faint Attacks and Thiefs with ease now that it has evolved. In addition to its movepool are Slash and False Swipe, which lets trainers have an early Pokémon that can help catch other Pokémon. Also, this Fakemon's "badass-ness" is summarized into that mimicry of "The Mask of Zorro" and that makeshift vest-cape feathers on its chest. It still gets to keep a gray coloring all over its body as with Eaglede, only lighter.

Keen Eye Eagledes evolve into Eaglibrutes with Intimidate as Ability. Guts-y Eagledes get to keep their ability when they evolve into Eaglibrute. Meh.

Eaglibrute has a somewhat crazy stats assignment, but its stats total of 345 still stays between Staravia's 340 total and Pidgeotto's 349. Eaglibrute's 60 HP now stays kind of midway Staravia's 55 and Pidgeotto's 63. Offensively, Eaglibrute's Attack stat of 70 is still behind Staravia's 75 but defeats Pidgeotto's 60. In Special Attack, Pidgeotto leads with 50, then Staravia with 40, and not so far behind is Eaglibrute with an unusable 35. Eagilbrute is still quite defensive with 40 in Defense and, like Pidgeotto, 50 in Special Defense. Speed-wise, Eaglibrute's 85 totally knocks out Staravia's 80 and Pidgeotto's measly 71.

Again, like Eaglede, Eaglibrute's stats comparisons are limited to only Staravia and Pidgeotto despite having a lot of Normal/Flying-typed Pokémon because of stats discrepancy.
