Ok, another experiment.This time with my amazon character Aello, in a sort of more 'contemporary/modern' possible outfit (suggested by a friend of mine).
Nothing too 'exciting', just a t-shirt, some khakis and a pair of running shoes...of course, Aello has made her own 'alterations' a bit to show where she came from...
...which is something I've been playing with in mind lately a little; a sort of version of Aello that's in a contemporary setting after being brought from where/when she originally comes from. Although not like 'Tarzan', more like 'Crocodile Dundee' (aka Aello doesn't say 'What's a fork?'
. A different style of life/upbringing, that of a warrior or huntress from the wilds, compared to what's normal 'here'......eh, I'm rambling. Maybe more later on this concept...

I think it's quite a cute concept for Aello. And I loved the bit about inquiring about a fork, too.

Yeah, it's a cute yet slightly 'wild' expression (sly?). As for the 'fork' line, that's something she WOULDN'T inquire...Ael's no simple dumb jungle girl, she's a lot more intelligent that you might expect.

I think it would really bring out some fun aspects of her personality.
I like her pose, and the way you did the shading here.
And, naturally, the sandal shoes are brilliant.

Yeah, I'm thinking this variation/attempt would be a nice contrast to try for her. I've never really decided where/when she's from, but maybe it'd be cute seeing her stick her tongue out at 'contemporary' things (or at least how she thinks in relation to 'normal' characters).
The pose, although simple, I think just fits her completely: confident, lovely, strong...and a little wild.
And yes, she just had to make 'alterations' to the look to show her own spin on it. Including, yes, having to 'show off' down there.
