personally looking back at my previous work that filled with tracing kinda makes me feels terrible back then i couldnt do any better except drawing stickmen and lazy attitude to put any effort into colouring, until today i regret that decision. maybe because i was too self concious back then about drawing
but i kinda questioning is tracing really that bad? maybe im just overthinks it

I would not say tracing is necessarily bad, just make sure you give proper credit or whatnot if you do post your traces. Really though, I remember reading that tracing will give you a better idea of how to draw whatever you are looking at, especially if you are lacking the structural shape of something that you have not drawn before. One example I read about is if you're trying to draw muscles but have no idea, then tracing a picture with detailed muscles will help you grasp what kind of shapes, curves, and folds that would form your own imagination of how it is supposed to look when you draw it yourself.
