Thats totally what its like! I got a question mark on the assignment because my teacher said that if he showed it to somebody on the street what it was they wouldn't know what it was, and I said thats exactly what I wanted to do, then he said I could do better and walked away. I don't think I want to take art in school anymore, its like whatever the teacher likes goes, and whatever they don't like doesn't.

I have a lot trouble with assigned art project, too. I can't make a good piece with only a small amount of required time (like three days in class, which really only adds up to an hour), and school itself is just not a comfortable environment to work in, in my opinion.

I totally agree with you! Its hard being forced to create something you don't necessarily want to create when there are people around you to jam up your thought process and you know you're getting graded on everything
