it was your choice, always. you were gentle (a near-circle, an open mouth) before you crystallized - turned yourself to salt, to sharp edges. a curved blade. the crash of the wave - you rise & you sink down, celestial. you reach upward and then clench your fist, empty - your canine-toothed star, your biting edge. ‘come closer’ you’ve been but ‘cut deeper’, you’d rather.________________

There are so many things I love about this drawing - the almost watercolor-like feeling, the expression... my absolute favorite thing about it, though, is actually the little poem-type-thing in the description, it's wonderfully descriptive and gives a clear idea of the character.
