Today - October 5th - is my sister's birthday, so I wanted to post a picture of the cake and share it with everyone to celebrate. Unlike the rest of the food stuff in my gallery, this one isn't homemade -- this cake was purchased at our local grocery store a few days before today. A couple of slices have been cut since I took this photo, of course.

While I cannot provide the recipe for this one, I can say that it is pumpkin spice-flavored - made with real pumpkin - with cream cheese icing, and a caramel spider web on top. As a fun little decoration and because October is the spooky month, I added a small plastic spider ring toy on top of the cake. Cute and spooky at the same time, with the bonus of a delicious cake! And what better flavor than pumpkin for the autumn/fall season, right? ;D Enjoy!
