Oh boy, it's been forever since I've completed a piece with my Copic markers... I have been digitally spoiled rotten. I kept having to remind myself that there is no CTRL+Z function and that layers are quite permanent o.oU Considering that I've never been great at traditional art, I'm happy with this drawing! There are some mistakes, but I'm still thirlled! The scanner butchered the shading on the book though

Have you played Dirge of Cerberus? Did you see the bit at the end with Genesis and Weiss?
I do hope that means a sequel of some sort one day but with the new FFXV out next year, im not so sure now.

I know, I wish they would too!! I have been raging ever since I finished Dirge of Cerberus and saw that ending!!! I mean, Square Enix can't end a series with all three main villains alive (well, Sephiroth isn't alive per se, but he's not really dead either...)
I am excited for FFXV at least, but I know what you mean. I was so sad to see that the latest FFVII update was ...a mobile app mini game. Sigh.

I really wish they would continue the series TT^TT They managed to make three games out of XIII, which was a finished story in the first game...This one is unfinished, how hard is it to make another game?!
I LOVE that movie too!! I was so happy when they made Advent Children Complete. I know there is only like 15 more minutes of footage or something like that but it tied the story together much better~

Yeeah! I ordered AC off amazon a couple of weeks ago and its great being able to watch it all the time now! Cos unfortunatly its not showed on the telly. I wonder if it was ever the in cinemas? Maybe in Japan? But it was always on YouTube so it wasn't so bad.

Dirge of Cerberus came out in 2006 and Crisis Core came out 2007/2008 depending on the region XD (Thank Google for this answer lol)
I do to! When I played through Crisis Core, it gave me a whole new perspective on him and Sephiroth. They were nice, relatively normal people before the degradation and Nibelhiem incidents D:
Same here. I loved Caius's character, I wish they had utilized him differently though...His story took a whole different direction in Lightning Returns than I thought it would. Heck, that whole series went in a direction I wasn't expecting.
I wish it was on television more. I saw Final Fantasy: Spirits Within on tv, why not ACC? I'm not sure if it ever was shown in theaters, I know it wasn't in America at least because I soooooooooooooo would've gone multiple times. ^^
The gameplay looks amazing and the graphics As an artist I always have to analyze the graphic of every game I play and I can't wait to do that with FFXV! And yeah, it better be good...I think they're under a lot of pressure between that and Kingdom Hearts 3...

Yeah! Cos you never really got to see Sephy as a sane person. He goes all cray cray on you so you didn't really know what he was like before. That's what made CC so sad because you knew what was going to happen and you were just waiting for it.
I can't believe that Genesis "died" three times...I mean way to torture the fangirls...
Yeah, I wish Lightning and Caius could have kissed and made up, emphasis on the kissing...
But I think his story was very sad and he deserved happiness. Everyone else got a second chance but he was kinda left to suffer. I REALLY will Light and Caius were together. Its one of my favourite ships. 
I don't think anything to do with FF is on the telly in Scotland. Japanese culture hasn't really got here yet. Although, a sushi place opened up a few years ago and they started putting manga in the library. So its looking good so far!

I think Caius deserved happiness too... He was just trying to help Yeul, he was never really "evil". Maybe the way he went about it wasn't totally right but still! He suffered for a curse bestowed upon for courageously saving Yeul, then he got stuck in the realm of the dead.
Hmmm I suppose people could be referencing that Lightning was trying to be Savior for Caius, but other than that I can't think of anything...
Manga just started showing up in the library where I live as well! I live in a very non-Asian part of America so I understand what you mean. I enjoy going to areas along the west coast that are heavily influenced by Japanese culture. They have the cutest shops there and whole TV channels dedicated to anime. The only downside is that I can't read kanji so there are some shops where I have absolutely no idea what is written in there XD

In the original FFVII I wasn't too sad when Zack died because he was such a minor character...but then about a quarter of the way through Crisis Core when he had *gasp* character development I started dreading the ending...

Wow that's awesome! I grew up here and live in the northern region where it reaches like 100-105 F in the summers and 10-20 (sometimes it reaches 0 or a little lower in the night) in the winter so weather doesn't really bother me lol

Lucky! I can usually write languages pretty well (kanji kills me though it's just so different from English) but when it comes to speaking I feel like I hit a brick wall.

Urgh, that scene was it for me, I managed to get myself together after Zack's death and then they hit us with Aerith's sad face and it totally destroyed my emotions... urgghghghgh!
It's amazing how much emotion can be portrayed in their eyes, even in 2005 with Advent Children...Cloud's face held so much emotion in it.

It's different for everybody I suppose, writing is easier to remember I suppose, speaking (especially pronunciation) can be tricky at times. But I don't mind it.

UGH OMG I KNOW TT-TT And yeah, even Cloud had so much emotion. Especially when he put Zack's sword upright again and you could just see all his regrets...At least on the other hand, you could also see how happy he was in the end!!
Where I live we usually get snow. The last couple years have been drought weather, though, so there hasn't been as much precipitation as usual...Some years when I was little, we would have 2-4 feet of snow piled up everywhere. We'd have snowman building contests at school lol. Then if you went into the mountain regions you would see around 8-12 feet of snow. It's a pretty funny climate where we live. There are a lot of "microclimates" everywhere because of the mountains. At my house we could get a foot of snow, then 15 minutes away in one direction you'd only see an inch or two, and 20 minutes in another direction you would see 2 feet or more! The same variation occurs with wind and rain. The wind could be blowing 50+mph by my house and completely still a few miles away o.O. When it's warm it's usually warm everywhere though.
Daily the weather is pretty constant unless a storm comes by. A few weeks ago you could tell the weather shifted to autumn. It's been around 60-70 degrees and slowly going down. Today was 85 though, which was weird, but I'm not complaining about being able to bask in the sun xD

Haha, i know! Omg, i am so sorry for such a late reply, its been cray cray lately but everything has calmed down at school. Square Enix are the masters of toying with your emotions, i mean look at FF10, that ending tho! urgh, i was tearing up.
I think Zack had a lot of regrets, especially about Angeal, Sephiroth and Genesis. He couldn't save Angeal and he couldn't convince Genesis that there was another way and then well...Sephiroth...well we all know how that turned out.
I was sad because he died but he was still happy to see Angeal and that his legacy would continue. But it was a bit crappy leaving it all to Cloud to deal with.
Ah okay, lots of rain then! Yea, last year we had quite mild weather and maybe a day or two of snow in January. But its getting cold now and i'm pretty sure it kinda lightly snowed for a few minutes a couple of weeks ago. So maybe snow this year, i like it at Christmas but its just inconvenient any other time, unless its snow days for school!
I'm jealous about the high temperatures, its about 5 degrees during the day and into the minuses at night. Got the heaters on, hot water bottles and gloves on!

I think Zack's biggest regret was not seeing Aerith again to fulfill her wish. I just hope that in Lifestream heaven or whatever he was able to be with her and Angeal again. Uggghhh I wish Square would finish Genesis's and Sephiroth's stories >.< I always hoped that since Genesis didn't degrade and the goddess saved him and completed the story of Loveless in a way that he'd be "good" again, and he's described as a protector of the planet in DoC, but he saved Weiss so it might just be my wishful thinking...
Poor Cloud. Mako poisoning, shouldering the legacy of Zack/Angeal, Geostigma, having a seemingly-immortal man you had to kill 3 times go after you constantly..that guy's been through a lot...
It's been so warm here considering...The precipitation usually starts around Halloween and then the first snow is usually around the third week of November (it's on my birthday 90% of the time lol) but we've gotten absolutely nothing. It's been getting up to 70 some days instead of the usual 40s this time.
Haha, the high temperatures aren't always good. It is comfy, but the rivers and lakes have been drying up because it's been dry the past 5 years or so D:

I know! I wish Genesis got more of a chance to redeem himself and that ending with DOC did not help, only showed him to be back to his old ways. Weiss is evil, so i'm not sure...or maybe he's a nice guy when he's not possessed!
Cloud got a pretty crappy deal but he copes with it (sort of) at least he gets a bit of a happy ending. BUT FOR GODS SAKE JUST GET TOGETHER WITH TIFA ALREADY!!!

They are the best couple, as soon as Zack fell through the church roof. I was like awww this is gonna be cute! At least they get to see each other in the life stream! I loved the scenes in Advent Children when Cloud spoke to them. And that ending...ahhhh i was almost crying!!! Square always has to ruin it. They ruined the Caius/Lightning ship by completely ignoring the fact that they could have been adorable together god damn it!
I think Hojo was alive but then he possessed Weiss by the end because he had found a way to harvest omega or something, the whole story line was a bit confusing. But Weiss probably was all for it to be honest. I feel really bad for Nero because he really loved his brother but his brother was a douche.
I know! I saw Aerith as more of an older sister to Cloud. I only really saw them as friends to be honest. I have nothing against the ship, but i don't agree with it. Tifa has always been there for him and made sure he was looked after as well as looking after Marlene and Denzel on top of it. And when he found her in the church after she was beaten by Loz. i think they should have had a moment but noo Cloud just had to pass out
It's turning really cold now, its about 7 degrees during the day and minus at night. It's not fun having to stand out at the bus stop with those temperatures....

Yes, thankfully they're reunited and happy. I don't think I would've been totally happy with Advent children if they hadn't included that scene.
I was actually surprised with how they ended Caius's story. I mean, he was never "bad" in an evil twisted sense. He just wanted to try helping Yeul and the hundreds of years (or however long he was a guardian) drove him to drastic measures. I couldn't stay sane watching someone I love die over and over and over again for all eternity. I would've been livid with Etro as well. Yet Square made him suffer even more by being stuck in darkness forever. Lightning could've saved him. And Yeul. But Square was like "lol no."
Yeah, Dirge of Cerberus was a bit confusing to me too to be honest. I should replay it sometime to see if I gain any insight lol
Weiss probably was. I don't doubt that he was a bad guy before Hojo came because I think it's really doubtful Hojo would possess someone nice. It would take too much work to either live by a "good" reputation or tearing it down while not raising too much suspicion in all of the Deepground people.
Poor Nero. Another character that makes me say "square why TT -TT"
I think Aerith/Cloud could've been a thing if she didn't die so soon after they met lol (I still think Zack/Aerith is way better, but I'm just saying) Tifa's definitely a better fit for Cloud. Aerith was mischievous and fun, which seems more Zack-ish. Tifa's more sensible and down to earth and supportive, which seems more Cloud-ish, to me at least.
Haha, Cloud passes out at the most inopportune moments. Like how he almost passes out during the opening bombing mission from hearing Sephiroth's voice xD

Yeah! Im so glad you think the same! I know a lot of people like him as a character but he is so misunderstood, he just wanted to help and he thought this was the only way to be able to do it. The fact that he had to suffer so long is such a shame and I think he should have had a bit more happiness in his life, but Square just loves that angst. I wish Light could have saved him! But alas, it was not meant to be!
Weiss as a character confused me, he probably was evil and all that but Hojo probably made that worse...That's true though! Did Hojo not control Deepground in the first place? the whole Deepground situation confused me a bit. I just liked Shelke and Vincent being there and fangirling over the Genesis cameo.
Oh, I have nothing against people shipping Cloud and Aerith (ship away!) but I just prefer Zack/Aerith. That's true though, they probably could of been a couple but im glad it didn't really develop into much as I love Tifa loads and want her to be with Cloud! Haha, Sephys voice was just too much for him, it makes him faint...
Oooh! That's very warm, the snow melted away after a week but it keeps coming back, here and there. Hopefully, there will be some for Christmas!
