First post of 2011!!Fan art of "True Grit" with Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn and Hailee Steinfeld as Mattie. I like the movie. Jeff Bridges did a great job as always. But the movie is more about Mattie's character and her determination to seek revenge. There are some pretty violent parts but over all a good flick.

I love the part with the tree, the corpse, Mattie cutting it down all just to identify it... and Jeff Bridges' Rooster's reaction; "I do not know this man". Anyway, more on-topic, I love the work you've done here! That's pretty much the face Mattie uses throughout much of the film.

Thanks Lalikaa! I wasn't sure myself going into it because it's a remake of the John Wayne movie. You are right, the actors really pull it off.

No problem! Haha, I was also wary because it was originally a novel, and many movies based off of novels are not neary as enjoyable as the novel itself... but once again, the acting and charactrs. And the plot was carried out fairly well too. I had never heard of Hailee Steinfeld before seeing the movie, and found out it was because she is pretty new. I hope she continues acting though... I really like her.
