Every time I tweak his design, he gets a bit more colorful. I guess he's more Brightfrost than ever. (I'm sorry that wasn't even funny)

Not much to say about him, honestly. I suppose you could say he's kind of my WoFsona? I don't really write him to be like me, though, I just give him some similar traits like being grumpy all the time and loving to write.
He does have a whole story though, but granted it was partially scrapped for a kind of odd reason; when I initially created him, I just wanted him to be a funny lil pink Icewing. But then I remembered that my ancient WoFsona from 2018 was a Hivewing because I've always liked Hivewings, so he ended up becoming an Ice/Hive. At some point, while I was developing my PPAU OC Moonshadow, I wondered if I could use Brightfrost's design and loose concept (grumpy author) to make a second PPAU idea in case Moon got rejected.
And then I got attached to the ideas I was coming up with for him, so he turned into my second character for the group. Unfortunately, I could only submit one, so of course I picked Moon since he's been floating around in my head since 2021. Which means now, Brightfrost has nothing to do, so his story kinda has to be simplified for now unless there's another PPAU opening that gives me the opportunity to submit him to the group.
TLDR he doesn't have a backstory because it doesn't make sense outside of PPAU lore lmao
