They make no mention of the beauty of decay Tears for fears - Break it down againSo I started drawing a realistic face and it ended up being this. (?) I just came back from a funeral and perhaps that is why that imagery got stuck in my head.
I'm going to try out this style more if I can, I know it's not hyperrealistic and I wasn't aiming at that, I just wanted it to be more realistic than what I usually draw. With a touch of surreal. Because surreal is love.

This work deserves to belong in the canon of great Steampunk. The marble cracks on the face and neck convey a haunting beauty. The pink icicle hair and the closed eye lend an air of the mysterious. What emotion escapes from the soul through the open eye - sadness, a hopeless anger, waning hope, wonderment at the depravity of mankind? The mauve grunge background evokes the times of the Mauve Decade of the Victorian era. The gears evoke the beginning of industrialization. All combine in a well-composed image to capture the human experience in all its timelessness and all its timeliness.

Jajaj en serio, a mi me enseΓ±an este dibujo sin decirme que es tuyo y dirΓa que sΓ es tuyo xD Creo que tienes una manera especial de dibujar los rasgos faciales mmm, creo que los labios en tus personajes son muy tu estilo por ejemplo, no sΓ© explicarte xD Y los ojos jeje Este serΓa como tu estilo normal pero con mucho mas volumen y profundidad
