Description It was just an ordinary daily cargo shipping routine. Their payload today however, unbeknownst to them, was none of the common. The brief seconds before the tedious docking procedure would mark the beginning of the end for the old yet reliable heavy cargo ship, as well as the luminous venue in the sky she was about to visit.

Blender and GIMP work. The cargo ship is based on the design from one of the ships [here] . I was modelling the ship and the station rather quickly in one time back then (less than an hour for both, I think...) because feeling rushed by art-less works plus a contest plus the guilt that the story has been stalled for some time, but then slowing down (esp. for the detailing and GIMP works) after the loads lessened.

That should be revealed in the next part, so stay tuned!
... actually, it might be somewhat obvious if you take a look at the story.

No need to be rushed though... it's not mandatory btw. Looks like you make a story too?

It's more of a setting with very loose narrative binding it together. I have made a few comic stories but translating them is a real bother. I'll try to get to it sometime soon, and hopefully realize a couple of new story ideas as well.

Well, it actually sounds like my story here. General plot realized into mainly sequential scene renders plastered with supportive narration (some even lengthy lol...)
Anyway, keep calm and art on.

I have a thing for detailed settings like Larry Niven's Known Space or Alastair Reynolds' Revelation Space which can function both as a setting for a central narrative and the setting of short stories.
