Because I'm starting an alternate continuity of Danny Phantom as a Japanese manga, complete with Japanese names. Sort of like what happened with the Powerpuff Girls.

However I'm not going to go all out and change the origin of how Danny got his ghost powers. That's the main issue I have with "Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z". They made their origin way more complicated than it needed to be and hard to believe...I just hope I can do Danny Phantom justice.
