An awesome band, now I know the picture has Tarja as lead singer and she has left the band but there's no problem with loving the haunting melodious voice she brought to their songs.Related content

I love both singers equally. There is nothing wrong with it. To me Nightwish doesn't have two eras it has one era, and that is Era of Nightwish.

I went and saw Nightwish on Friday with a friend who saw them once before with Tarja, He actually profers Anette live, she is more active on stage.
I was glad I was able to go. I struggled with a cold, but I battled on to see my new favourite band.

I'm still sad that Tarja left Nightwish, but hopefully she will be happy wherever she goes next. She had a gorgeous voice, and face to match.
Nightwish [with Anette] came to a local nightclub last month or so, but the tickets sold out half a year in advance. [The venue can supposedly hold 500, but I have yet to see it that packed.]
I haven't heard any of the new material, or any with Anette on vocals, so I can't pass judgement yet. I hope she fills the spot well.

Great taste. I love Nightwish. I agree: Tarja is gone, but we must seperate the artist from the person. She was truly an amazing vocalist, and though Nightwish has changed with her dismissal, Anette has brought a new and refreshing feel to the band.

Yeah Tarja brought such a presence to Nightwish. Have you heard her solo stuff? It's alot softer but haunting at the same time.
