This is my contest entry for TLoC (The Legend of Cynder) fan game contest.

I changed a few things from the reference image. These are the changes and why I made them:
Eye marking - in TLoS style the marking on the ref image would not have worked considering the shape of the "eyebrows."
Chest markings - I changed the chest plates to make them a little more interesting and the red markings around them to add further interest. I think that the harsh points and red colour of the markings help to characterize his more menacing side
I did not include the teeth that are normally visible even when the mouth is shut because they made him look more beast-like and therefore slightly unintelligent in a way. He still needed to have a slightly human quality to give him character.
Stripes - I simply made the stripes on his back cleaner and continued them for further to make him look edgy.
Wing Spikes - I reversed them because they looked detattched when facing upwards, also I made them larger and had a sort of cut-out in them to in-keep with his style.
Horns - Without horns he looked kinda bare and all Spyro style dragons have them, so it seemed wrong to leave him.. "bald."
Tail - I gave him a tail... blade... thing... He looked bare without it, and as with the horns, every Spyro style dragon has one so... yeah...
Red marking - I added a red marking to the upper part of his front leg because it just looked so blank and bland without it.
Overall I tried to slightly "humanize" him and give him that trademark Legend of Spyro Style to in-keep with the game

Man that list seems long now that I look at it!!! Anyway, I hope you enjoy Fingers crossed for the contest
