Completely lovely! I've always loved black horses. The coloring of the fur and the shines in this are all beautiful. It looks somewhat sad, with it's head and hair like that.

No problem. I can't see anything wrong if you used a reference, it's important when you're learning to draw.

yeah it is! as for lions, i can draw them with no reference but it took me almost 1 year of practice! at the beginning it was the same as it is with horses right now so i always have to use a reference, cause im only good with the head and torso, when it comes to the legs i have an idea sure, but it never comes out right o_O
