might carry on until I've done all of the Spartans from reach as a little challenge

Shading is great but proportions could use some work (though it does seem to give it a strange artistic feel). Do you draw a basic outline first or do just draw and shade as you go, if you know what I mean. Also since I like your shading, do you smudge/blend the pencil?
