how am I supposed to see
my clouds when I an stuck
behind these walls these blinds
they hold me like a prison cell
I look to my clouds for comfort
but they just hurt my eyes
because the blinds they split my clouds
and make them impossible to see
their definition gone
their depth gone
their majesty wiped away
what am I supposed to do
without my clouds to set me free
I model after their definition
I wish I had their depth
I draw upon their majesty
to get me through the day
but what I like most about them
is not the way they look
but the way god has blessed them
with wings so they can fly
it's the way they get to soar
way up in the sky
I love my clouds I need them
what am I to do
trapped here by these wall these blinds
unable to see the sky
