in the game i was really lucky with finding ships, so part of my headcanon now is that setsuna has either a lot of ships, or a lot of ship parts, so she spends a lot of time in the hangar bay!

I have to admit, the Tower hanger is pretty cool. It's too bad we can only transverse a section of it... So, Setsuna works with the Tower Shipwright, yes? Honestly I think the two best places to look at are the Tower Entrance over-looking the City or the Event Hall where the Emissaries are at in the back of the room. :3

Agreed, being a Guardian is a full time job, all the running around for materials, glimmer and bounties but, the rewards make it all worth it!

since guardians are apparently 'dead' and resurrected by ghosts, i would like her past life to contain some level of robotics experience (preferably of the professional level) so I feel like she would be drawn to things like ships, exos, and the lower level automatons that work on the tower.

My big beef with this game is that there's no story whatsoever. At all. Or rather there is a story here, but nobody cares enough to tell it. You get vague hints, and cryptic statements, but no one elaborates.
I'm sorry, but that's the killing point for me.
