Description As a sequel of "Leave it up to me "... here comes our gangster heroine's friend into action. Because powerful strong women don't compete against each other, instead they offer help and support to those they consider equals. One does play the thinking role and playing her cards, the second helps distracting the male card players's attention and easily get rid of any that become a nuisance to any of them. Al Capone would have been afraid of encountering any of these two ladies. Although this is kind of "fiction" photography if you like, in real life, these girls are as confident strong women and awesome as they look in these roles.

These days of gangsters are over, but the world when it comes to work and earn a living in it is still pretty much a man's world, where most men get prioritized to get a job instead of their female counterparts, who are often thought not as capable or responsible enough, or god knows, and in the even they get a job, is usually in a female industry mainly or if it's with men, at a less hourly rate than them. In Spain there is still a 18% difference in salary between men and women. We need more women like these that think outside the box and find alternative ways to pay their bills... either dancing, hairdressing, taking photographs, reviewing vaping machines articles which they are both very passionate about, check them on their youtube channels below in action. Sorry they only speak Spanish though.

Gangster model is Virgin superstar and you can watch her in her youtube channel here
Woman with Pamela hat is Mary, click here to watch her reviewing vaping machines in action ;D

Photographer is myself and you can watch me in action with Mary's boyfriend and Virgin Superstar in this video review at the beginning and the end of the review. ;D

Great photo, well done. and I agree it's absurd the gender difference of salaries, here in Brazil could be more than 55%...

Thanks so much Rogerio, yes... I guess it can be argued that mos mens end up responsible for the family and that's why thy have to pay them more, yet, at the same time, they don't allow any woman to keep the man at home while she works. Like I wish I could have a full time job that was paid as high as my husband's so he could have a rest and me being the earner for a while. But they make it ridiculously impossible. :/

Well, some researches show that it's more and more common that the women is the one who provide support for her families, ( from the one who lost their husband or was abandoned) so soon this "explanation" that the man is the one responsible for the families is  weak , and even so not enough, to allow this situation continues, as you gave a great counterargument, equal  salaries would mean that the men would be less worried about their jobs and families.

Yes... that's true, there a lot of widowed or divorced women that have to work to keep the children, as women are more often than not the ones that win the custody. It's also unfair to men in the extent that they have that super big weight over their shoulders that they have to feed the family, and then because women can't find a properly high paid job, makes more sense it's her who loses her job to raise the children, because even though there is public schools, there is nothing free for babies from age 0 to 3 years, that makes children more attached to their mothers, which turns that when there is a divorce goes against men too. Kind of the mother was always there. At the same time, women lose 4 years of their professional careers but once they're mums it doesn't get any better to find a job. . Yes.. equal salaries.. and opportunities would mean they both share the weight of feeding their children. Sigh.. not sure when we will see a change... so many women have to change for that to happen.. and so many men...

Yes another problem for many women the "double work-shift" as their have their work and take care of the children , here still have the view that it's the mother who have to nurse the children, as the man only have to provide sustain and it's "not suited" for this, fortunately it's  begin change. But still too little and to slow. As you said  many have to change.

Yes, my mother worked in and out... they both had the same teaching jobs, so at least they both knew what each other job was like, but due to my father not being able to be transferred nearer where my mother got her position, she had to spend like 5 years doing her teaching job and doing the parenting alone, we were older, like 11 and 13 so it wasn't as bad as looking after little kids that demand full attention, however still hard work. But it's not until my mother got sick that my father found out what a pain it's to keep things clean constantly... and the amount of time and effort it consumes. Yes.. I'm trying to write a blog about all these issues hoping one day, it may reach people enough to inspire some kind of change!

I think i know how it's was as I was raised by my mother alone, my father died before i was born, and during a period my mother work as distance, but I also was a little older so it was not a issue.
And I liked your idea of a blog.

Ohh so sad to read you didn't get to know your father . Your mum must be a very strong woman, it can't be easy raising a child all on your own, I hope at least she had family to help her raise you. And glad when she went to work it didn't cause you much trauma. Yes.. I believe staying with your kids when they're small it's the best thing ever... because that's when they need it the most, once they start reaching like 8 year old or maybe even 6 they probably like spending time alone and do their own stuff... but when they're younger than that it's when they need the motherly love the most I would think.

Yes she is very strong. And she had the support of her parents. fortunately most time she worked nearby and I stayed with my grandmother so no complain in this subject. And I agree  that the young children needs a lot of the parents love, specially from the mother.
