I can't stop doing art about it!Phantom Princess
I still remember it like it was yesterday or last week. I woke to pouring rain that fateful Saturday; the beginning of the annual “flood season,” as my clan used to call it. The front walkway down from the burrow was wet and muddy, and I knew I would be staying inside for most of the day. Probably painting with my step-sister again.
I began with my chores. I had no school, which meant that I had to also start up the fire in the fireplace. I brought in some wood, and surprisingly it lit on my first try. I wasn’t that good with matches, but I didn’t really care. I had accomplished something and that’s all that mattered to me.
After the burrow was warm and toasty, I walked over to my step-sister’s room. She, like all the natives to the burrow, was a bunny. The kind bunny family had taken me in after my parents disappeared when I was only a pup. Although it was unusual for a wolf to live with a bunny, I was grateful for their hospitality. The drawing was part of a story I wrote. The character in the picture is a phantom with the ability to not only transform into a fox but also is sympathetic towards the animals' desire for peace, so she went against the phantoms who just wanted to destroy and pollute everything. In the picture she had been discovered by the phantoms and was imprisoned for being a traitor.

The fox Snowflake (I should change the name lol) is actually a shapeshifting phantom who spends the majority of her time as a fox. The arctic wolf Desert (should also change that name) was raised in a country near Jamaa filled with bunnies when she was adopted by them. I don't actually remember the details to everything. I've actually been putting off re-reading this and editing it because I don't like to expose myself to the cringeyness of my past. XD
