Ok, so the star background is extremely high contrast and somewhat take attention away from the planet in the background. That's fine, but it seems like a weird focus to me.

Finally, I don't think the shadows are accurate, considering the light source.

That said, I love the color scheme/contrast of the snow. It looks most beautiful, as does the mist/atmosphere rising above it. Also, the purple tint to the left portion of the starfield is a really nice touch imho, gives it a stronger color range.
