you cannot run away from the pain, because the pain is needed to create. It is happiness, it is sadness, it is an imprisonment, and it is freedom. As an artist, and a living person, one cannot do without either worlds, and thus we, as artists, must carry both burdens, in this place where reality and our own worlds meet....reuploading ID/painting....

I'm, well projecting in all honesty. I totally understand. The line between my reality and the reality I live in isn't entirely defined, if at all. I've got to say the way you portrayed the idea (as I'm reading it) is brilliant. The graduation from the sky above and the brick below is well paced (if you take my meaning) and right at the middle we see the subject's face. It's really quite powerful for me.

I really like the composition of this piece. Your eye is drawn first to the balloon, and then drips down with the paint to the girl's eyes, then the street.
My only complaint might be that the bottom of the girl's dress seems too sheer. I don't like that you can see her legs through it. :/ Oh, well. Your choice, I guess.
