from Spirited Away. just an idea I've had for a while. I've longed to see Haku and Chihiro meet again, even in some doujin or something, hahaha. I guess that's just a childish romantic side of me showing -_-;;. I've even thought about maybe try and animating in Miyazaki's style and having them meet some time in Chihiro's future @__@;;~ ah, just a dream

My fan theory (critique encouraged):
basis: the βhuman worldβ is a simulated reality whose users voluntarily mind wipe to fully experience an idyllic past of the real world, and the real world is a nano-intelligent βspirit worldβ where sentience can upload into various forms and aspects of the environment.
Chihiro, a simulation user, might have known Haku as a friend when she lived in the real world. Β This is how she recognizes Haku even as a distant dragon, and at least partly why Haku cares so much for her interests. Β Which means Chihiro basically chose to forget Haku and everything because she hated technology. Β Hopefully she will not repeat such a decision when she re-learns the world.

Yeah, that's always a thing with Miyazaki movies, they're always like stories in a bubble. They only happen once and then they're gone forever.
It's a fine way to do it and I agree with the reasoning why they're like that, but it's still so sad, man! I want Mai and Satsuki to fly with Totoro one more time......

Do you edit your traditional paintings to make the colours more visible?Β I've experienced they loose some quality if you scan them.

Thank you~! Yes, there will always be colour loss or quality loss when you transfer from one medium to another, whether it's digital to traditional (printed out) or vice versa, so I will always adjust it in photoshop when i scan or take a photo of my traditional works
