A scientist whose research pioneered human understanding of radioactivity and led to the discovery of two different chemical elements, she received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903, and the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1911.,American singer Aretha Franklin, known for her powerful and soulful performances, became the first woman inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
