They're adorable, especially the way they seem just a little too short for their jackets. Makes me go "aww"

Thank you! I'm glad you like my plushie style! It took me awhile to get my pattern just right, but I'm glad I could come up with something cutesy and enjoyable to recreate for all my character plushies.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH *do want*

Do you charge less if I buy more than two/three?

I'll make any nation. Even the ones not shown in my gallery.

If you order more than three I can charge $38 each. The best I can do unfortunately--they take me so long to make. XD

Those are so adorable! My two favourite countries x3 And they look so well made!
What are they made of, may I ask? I'm planning on a few Hetalia plushies myself soon, and I'd like to get the material for their clothes and such right

Thanks! I was especially happy with Russia. I love his outfit and was excited to make him.

The bodies are made of velour. France's hair is made from fleece, and Russia's from felt. Their clothes are made of a light fleece (not sure what it's called) I found awhile ago. I love to make clothes with it because it doesn't fray, and it's not as thick as polar fleece. Unfortunately, my fabric store doesn't carry it anymore...
Sometimes I use velour for plushie clothes as well. It also doesn't fray so it's easier to sew. Though, you can pretty much use any fabric for the clothes.

Good luck with your Hetalia plushies!

Well Russia is definitely my favourite how did you go about making the pattern for his coat? Sorry for all the questions xD

But thanks! Thats a great help, I've been looking for alternatives to felt for the bodies and such since not many of my previous plushies have been very soft or huggable xD

quacked In reply to Ultra-Swift [2009-05-13 23:22:49 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, felt works for small small plushies, but it's not very stretchy, so it doesn't work best for average plushies.
And, I'm glad I could help!

Hmm, the coat pattern is kinda hard to explain without being able to show it to you. I make my clothing patterns through trial and error, really. I often look at how human clothing is made to help me with my patterns. Maybe google coat patterns for some examples?
