Probably the last thing I'll submit for a while - I have to go back to work unfortunately
This is already a fully cg'd piece in my gallery, but I thought I'd submit the pencil shaded lineart to complete the series of three, Isotope, Cathode & Siren. I'll cg the other two when I get round to it.

IS this just a normal HB.. or a range..? I absolutly ADORE the boots.. If only I could get hold of some real ones! And the hair!

Yep, its just a normal HB, I use a mechanical 0.5mm pencil, I just make the lines very small and precise to get the look. The pictures take quite a long time but I think the resulting detail is probably worth it. Thanks for the comment

I'm only mentioning this because you said Advanced Critique Encouraged..... I think head looks a bit small but the picture is totally amazing. You're a fantastic artist

I agree totally about the size of the head. I only really noticed it a few weeks after completing the image. I was wondering if I could resize it actually, I wonder if i would scale up and look a bit better... hmm I'll see what I can do, as yes, it does really bug me.

Thank you! I really need to start using more references - e.g. when I first drew this it looked ok, but now I see that the head is way too small and some other glaring faults! I guess practise and references are the best way to learn. Also one tip I would give you is that if you are colouring in an image the proportions and anatomy usually come out looking totally different from the sketch due to the use of shading etc :S

why thank you so much for the tip. i never thought of that. Yes, im trying to pratice. I just strated this whole people thing not too long ago, and im still trying to get better. i want to make them more realistic, yet im not quite sure how to do it.

The detail of this picture is Amazing! Must have taken you SOME time to Draw... Her clothes, her boots, even her hair is stunning. Really a wonderfull picture!

Thank you, yes these pictures do take a long time to draw, although surprisingly the ones with backgrounds take a lot longer. Even adding a little detail in the background seems to take ages, I guess its because of the large area. Anyway I'm sure you know all about this!

I'm not complaining or anything, but just how many of these characters do you have? I like the CG one better but the sketch has its own niceness

Its ok, there are only 3 in this batch. They are all done now. I just wanted them all done as pencil sketches before cg'ing them all, as I think its quite cool to have a set of similar drawings sometimes. Its back onto the cg's for me soon - as i get back from holiday and can get back on my own computer where I have my tablet and photoshop all set up properly
