days ago I posted on my tumblr a quick drawing of a Cutiefly with a flying pikmin, saying that this pokemon reminds me of pikmin universe somehow. Cuz, well, I guess it's because it's tiny and a lot of pikmin enemies are based on arthropodsBut I didn't considerated that cutiefly actually have 10cm, and even if it's tiny for a pokemon, it's kinda big for pikmin universe, since Pikmins have in average 3cm (and flying pikmin have just 2cm)
SO I REDID THE DRAWING. With size a little more accurate.
Cutiefly looks to be a weak pokemon, but probably it's would be terrifying enemy on pikmin D:

Cutiefly would probably be a harmless creature, or even helpful (like the Mamutas). Pink/Winged Pikmin would herd, err-, I mean "swarm" them into strategic positions like cowboys, where they could serve as anything from floating platforms to distractions against larger, more hostile creatures (a single Cutiefly can potentially take down multiple foes 10x its size before calling for help).

I think they wanted to make it Pokemon-weird looking so they added this to a tropical fish and also as a sensory organ which sticks out when Bruxish burrows itself in the sand.
So it's not that bad idea to me

the pikmin would probably start attacking it as it looks a little like a thornet and spectralid combined.

Yes! At the beginning, I thought on a hornet, but bigger. But also would have and attack like a Flighty Joustmite, but without the shell.
Even it's cute, I don't hink that cutiefly would be one of the harmless enemies

yep, do you know what a beefly looks like? if you google it, cutiefly looks exactly like what is is based off of.

If that happens, I dunno if pokemon would kill all pikmin or pikmin would be considered a newpowerful pokemon species O:
