I know this addiction well, except mines hit a road block in the form of a corrupted disc 2. Do find though that the alien personalities are so much more engaging than the human ones.

Oh dear lord I felt exactly the same! Aion's endless grindorama made me cry in december so I quit and sat on my ass while waiting for ME2. WHICH WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE.

I still play Aion for the friends I've made and the people in my legion, and we roleplay regularly. It's nice to be able to play "my own" character from time to time. I never expected to like Mass Effect, to be honest, but after watching my boyfriend I needed to give it a try myself and I was hooked.

I also always choose Mordin and Garrus. Mordin is just too hilarious to leave him to rot on the ship.

I can't say I blame you though, now I'm playing Part 1 and then I hope to get my own versions of the games so I don't have to leech off my boyfriend's computer when he's not using it and then I'll play it again and then probably again and ... damn I love it so. I'm scared I might get tired of it if I play it too often, though.

I grabbed the first game last Black Friday as part of a 'Buy 2 used games get the third free' deal at GameStop. Fell in love! The second game came out the following January, so I've been playing both over and over, haha.
Though I did take a break to play FFXIII in March....

My boyfriend showed me the beginning of ME1 last year when I visited but he never finished it. I like to have something going on in the background while I draw, so this time I asked if he wanted to show me Mass Effect again while I worked through commissions. After seeing him run through the two games himself I had to give it a shot ... heheh ... "shot" ... because it's a shooter ... heh ... okayI'llstop.
