I don't fave everything I see and like, I don't have many faves but when I fave it's a picture I look at again and again.

I like getting comments, but I don't mind faving and running. It's a heck of a lot better than getting comments that have nothing to do with your artwork (such as shameless self-plugging), or a comment that doesn't tell you whether or not the commenter likes the piece (big pet peeve of mine!)

I don't find favs as worthy as comments. At least tell my why you like it >:U How hard is it to comment why you like it? Some constructive criticism is valuable as well.
I find comments much more valuable than faves DX
comments are rare though ;3;

So what?
I dislike it when people fave without commenting!
Reading actual words and seeing something new makes me happy.
I get tired when I see "Someone favortied (blank) blah blah blah)"
over and over again.
It makes me tired :c

I only fav and run when the artist is known, or has a lot of comments already. But for people that aren't known at all -like me- it's nice to know why people fav :d

I agree, though it's sometimes hard to judge the middle ground between "famous" and "not famous."

Actually, I disagree.
If someone favourites your work, it's nice to know exactly why.
Perhaps this favouriting and running is more acceptable on art work, but I write poems as well and displaying my photography on this site, and I'd to know just why someone feels the need to favourite my poems.
Even comments like "Nice" or "I like it" are much appreciated on writers works.
Some deviants just go around faving anything they vaguely like the look of, so it's not always a compliment in its self.

I never have understood what the problem was with faving and running. This is cute.
