Description
If I had one character that desperately needed to be returned to the drawing table, it's Jade's father, Frill. I was never happy with how he came out before, but I'm actually quite fond of this design.Frill is a strict disciplinarian who can be domineering at times. He isn't very affectionate, but showcases his love for his family through providing food and protection and will occasionally engage in play with his offspring.
When Jade goes missing, so does his ego. He becomes more reserved and stops taking pride in his accomplishments almost entirely. He remains dutiful and never expressly shows his grief, but his overall morose demeanor gives it away.
Upon finding Jade he is quick to scold her, but unlike before he no longer belittles her.

Hehe, i know, it's just that i found the color scheme a little reminiscent of the character, but overall, this piece is charming! Poor Jade though. She'll get over it real fast, probably.

I've always wanted to give this guy a more traditional dragon design than the others. I wasn't actively thinking about Skyrim when drawing him, but maybe it was a subliminal thing.
