I know her wrist looks wonky so no one say anything about it. I screwed it up when I inked it. Now down to business-Ever have one of those nights when something just clicks and you're actually inspired to work? Well my friends those nights have been few and far between for me lately but tonight my muse kicked it into overdrive and we have this...er chinchila anthro belly dancer thing.
Mostly I'm fond of the motion in this. I'm not worried about it being a technically sound piece. It was just for fun. Doing some nice flat inks for digital color to be added later.
In other words I have no idea where this came from except I love chinchillas and there is nothing sexier than a Bellydancer!

To me, the wrist looks just fine. I'm very picky on my anatomy stuff, and with the cuff, you can't see any flaw. Beautiful. It reminds me of Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, for some reason. L

Its so amazing to be able to see how much better you have become throughout the year.
If you hadn't mentioned the wrist I probably wouldn't have noticed it, *sheepish*.
But, my goodness, this is very flowing, the movement of everything is just perfect and shows give it a feeling like she's going to dance right out of the page. ^^ And the details in everything from her skirt to her sashes to the little (??) bells all over, yes, very nice!

I'm definitely getting better with lineart. I'm hoping to do a series of bellydancers if I get time. We'll see how it goes. The whole concept one i got started was to make her move even if she is flat on the page.
