Anyways since I’m also updating Shizuka’s past and development in terms of her growing love with Azusa (because the last reference sheet was almost like hell and I regret not finding the delete button) since not everyone clicks the description ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I can explain some of my ideas. I’m doing my best to research about the ancient races and trying to align the common questions on why Shizuka is a important point for Karlheinz. In this story, Shizuka is not Eve nor a sacrificial bride and Yui exists and interacts with her. In her story, her character is not all the way explained in the beginning, Shizuka herself is almost completely unconscious of her family background since she was so extremely protected by her mother Bora. At the first introduction, Shizuka thinks she was normally living with her mother, a normal human life until at the age of 16 Shizuka ends up being kidnapped by nothing more than her own stepfather, Dr. Kobayashi. Shizuka ends up in a isolated camp filled with young hunters with the purpose of training. Dr. Kobayashi was a extremely powerful man, travelled around the world because of “business” but in close doors, he knew about the demon world and the ancient races. He got extremely obsessed over the thought of power and formed a secret quick growing community of demon hunters. Dr. Kobayashi married Shizuka’s mother at a very young age and Shizuka nor her were important to him, he was never around until later when he got overfilled with knowledge about his obsession. Shizuka was important for his plans to kill the underworld, because he knew since the beginning that she had special blood extremely similar to Eve’s and had vibora race ancestors, so he got the perfect prey to give to his “friend” Karlheinz. Now why sending Shizuka rather than an actual hunter? Because as mentioned before her blood was unique and her role was a small one. Shizuka was given a special gift from birth, which were a pair of scissors made of precious jewels and silver, deathly weapon for vampires, and Dr. Kobayashi knew it. Her role was to go as a spy, pretending to be a sacrificial bride, to kill Adam and Eve, so there will not be a cure for the Endzeit killing the founders.

Now later on, Shizuka did received training against her will and was treated constantly so there will not be scars to open up suspicious opinions. More than physical, she was mentally trained and brainwashed. She hated all of this, and it harmed her to be away from her beloved mother. Even with all the brainwashing, some of her rebellious behavior refused to think about killing. She had still warm inside her heart that prevented her from wishing death to even the most cruel creature, because she believed in change.
Finally Dr. Kobayashi sold Shizuka to Karlheinz, and threatened her that if she was uncovered or failed her mission, her beloved mother would pay the consequences. Karlheinz was aware of all the situation, and instead of being fooled, he fooled Dr. Kobayashi. Karlheinz also knew of Shizuka’s special blood and saw her as an experimental opportunity that has never happened before, she was the serpent meant to destroy everything, but the question of what could really happen sparked interest in him.
