The voice... well, to be honest, I like the voice. I think he can make a bunch of Egyptians-with-British-accents jokes, considering how 4kids kept the accent for Akefia like that as well.

Oh, I know!! It's hard to write him because his character is hard to define I think. He was possessed for almost all of Season 5, so that personality wasn't even really his at all, but Zorc's (who was controlling him).
Personally I like to think of him as a more human Bakura, not quite as bloodthirsty and not as cold-hearted ... Quicker to anger too XD

Pretty much all of Season 5, actually. Which gives authors to really write him any way they want, so long as it's even remotely possible. 'Cause what we saw of Thief King might not have been in any part the true Bakura. It could have ALWAYS been Zorc, for all we know. Even the personality within Ryou could have been immeasurably altered by Zorc's presence.
Hmm... I don't have any particular favorite Bakura, because I HAVE read him in many different ways that were good or made sense. It's hard to choose.
But, gun to my head... I'd have to say I enjoy seeing the kinder, understanding... stable side of the Thief King.

This whole thing is partly why I love the Bakura's so much!! They're all so open to interpretation, and it's very individual how you think they operate and their realionship with each other (mean that in so many ways 
Personally, my fave is USUALLY Bakura, mostly because of his plain evil awesomeness and the backstory ... But lately I've been leaning more towards Akefia

Somehow Bakura's made it to the bottom of my fave five. It goes Akefia, Ryou, Yami Marik, Marik, then Bakura.

Those are my top five too!! But they sort of switch around in the order depending on what pairings I'm reading atm ... But Malik usually it's Bakura or Akefia (in some stories they're the same person lol), then either Ryou or Marik, then Malik

It used to be Bakura, Yami Marik, Ryou, Akefia, and then Marik. Now it is, again, Akefia, Ryou, Yami Marik, Marik, Bakura.
Marik's glad he's not bottom anymore (immature chuckle) while Bakura's wondering just how he got into this position (another immature chuckle). Yami Marik's none too happy about being under Ryou now (more snickering) but he's having fun being over Bakura (blushing). Ryou doesn't really care what position he ends up in (pffffffft). And Akefia? Well, he rather enjoys being on top... but then again, he always is! (more chuckling)

At first, before I understood about the godly smexiness that is Akefia, my list was Bakura, Ryou, Marik and Malik, but all veeerrryy close.
Then I read a few bakushipping and gemshipping fics, and what can I say? Akefia dominated over the rest (see what I did there? >D). Bakura's pretty pissed that his past self has pushed him beneath him (heh heh) but he just keeps telling himself that tecnically since they're the same person, he's still on top (he's so narcisstic). Marik wants to be on top, but even he knows he could never be over Akefia (fangirl giggling), Malik's still annoyed he's on the bottom (tee hee) but he switches it up every now and then, so at least he gets variety (gotta love seke's
