Mixed media drawing of Loki and The Other. I really wanted to draw "The Other", because I like the actor. Spoiler (Guardians of the Galaxy): I'm still angry about the fact that he got his neck snapped by Ronan! So he really needs some kind of tribute now and that's why I included him in this drawing.I hope that they don't forget about that threat (see quote) at least and show what Thanos will do to Loki in the upcoming movies...

It's very annoying to draw a blue tint, so I needed something for a change.Reference were two screencaps of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and The Other (Alexis Denisof) from the movie The Avengers (2012). "The Other" was blurred on the screencap so I had to take a second one.

Have you tried drawing Red Skull, Baron Strucker, Agent Carter, Nick Fury, and Bucky? I think they'd turn out really well.

As much as I love Loki... I would like to see Thanos kill him with the complete Infinity gauntlet to show its power (redemption death)...
I don't like Agent Carter and Nick Fury. Bucky is on my to-draw-list (I've already drawn one sketch) and I'll probably draw all the other MCU villains as well if I ever start my "Phase 1, 2, 3 villains projects".

This is gorgeous. And yes: the thing I want from the MCU, more than anything else, is for Loki to team up with the Avengers to fight Thanos (and properly reconcile with Thor in doing so). Explicit confirmation that Thanos had him tortured would be nice too, considering how many huge hints we got toward that.

I just want to see an evil Loki in Thor 3, who probably escapes at the end with the Tessearct + hands it to Thanos and then collects in Avengers 3 the other Infinity Stones for him. Of course with some kind of redemption dead in Avengers 3 part 2 (Loki betraying Thanos and proctecting Thor or the Avengers => dies, because Thanos wants to show the power of the Infinity gauntlet). That would be awesome!

I love this. I love The Other so much (that is why I am so sad about him in Gotg). Do you plan to draw him separate? Only him without loki? I love loki so much but The Other has so little space just for him.

I was also very shocked, when he was killed in GotG... He's a really interesting villain (I'm tired of Marvel villains from earth). I'm not sure, but I'll definitely draw him again (The Other sketch card, A4 The Other with Alexis Denisof or a big A3 Phase 1 drawing with all villains... the last idea might "kill" me). We'll see!

I know this is probably not this case but you know Marvel. And when someone dies it doesn´t have to actually mean his will be death forever.
Yes, I would definitely love more of The Other. I love his costume so you could draw his whole figure, because there is often to be seen only his head.

Yes, I know. I already thought about that possibility. They don't stay dead in these Marvel movies (except for Frigga...). But the problem is that this doesn't work for villains. When they die they always stay dead (ok... except for the trickster ). We'll see what is going to happen! Maybe he can survive a neck break.

I'm sorry. That's why I wrote "Spoiler (Guardians of the Galaxy)" before I wrote it. At least it's not an important spoiler. He dies so fast that you ask yourself while watching it: What the hell just happened?! It has almost nothing to do with the story and is just there to show Ronans impatience or something like that.

Thank you! It was a bit tricky to draw the blue tint and to mix almost everything with black to get it so dark, but in the end it worked.

Do both these white gel work on charcoal and colour pencil drawing?

It's the same gel pen that I use for my mixed media drawings. In Germany Faber-Castell sells it even it's not mentioned on the pen.
I haven't tried charchoal yet, but it works on colour pencil, pencil and watercolor. Maybe it would work on charcoal as well if it's not too "dusty"/powdery.
