Description
Some works in progress. There's still much work to do (I have to colour everything with colored pencil; the faces are probably 75% done, but I still have to find some mistakes)... I don't know when I'll finish these two drawings, but it always helps when I submit photos of the WIPs on dA!
Season 5 is still pretty "new", so please no spoilers in the comments!

Wow, beautiful! Aw, the other day I saw copic ciao as yours and I bought two because I wanted to try them. I feel a little stupid because I have seen wips and I think they're used to colour the background and then you can draw with colored pencils on it and then it looks pretty better, that's it? I feel a little bit like "You know nothing, Jon Snow" 
I only have two (blue and skin colors) but they're too expensive. Excuse me, I'm getting excited over my new markers, hehe, but I want to be sure of how can I use them with colored pencils because I don't want to waste them.

Yes, I use the Copic for a base layer and then I draw with colored pencil on it (for more shading and details).

So I just spent the last two minutes staring at the works. I can't see any mistakes, and I was honestly going to nitpick in order to help you.
Seriously, either I have a terrible eye or you are wrong about the mistakes.

So far I'm happy with Daenerys face (I can't find mistakes so either, but her face still needs some layers of colored pencil), but there's something with Jon face that doesn't seem right. Ok, it looked much worse. I was very close to tear the paper apart, but then I used a set square and measured some distances... there were a few things wrong and now it looks much better.

So I found the reference you used for John Snow and I tried nitpicking with all my might haha.
At first I thought that you didn't do the bridge of his nose curvy enough but I checked and rechecked and it is spot on, then I thought that his cheekbone on left of the image wasn't defined enough. But nope, rechecked that and it all seems fine.
The only conclusion I can come to is that you haven't yet done all the shadowings on his face from his hair, especially around his forehead and maybe you are perceiving his forehead as being too large or something.
Also, you did his hair a softer black and in the reference it is really sharp and dark. So that could be contributing.
Again, this is extreme nitpicking. He looks perfect in my opinion!
But I want to help you nontheless. There's nothing worse than being unhappy with your own work, even if others love it.

Yeah, I think once you give more shadowings and define the hair with more darkness then he'll all start to come together.
It's always hard to see it forming when the character has such dark features, because the dark features really give definition to the face. Whereas Daenerys has soft/ fair features so she's taking less time to all come together.
You really picked two very contrasted characters as far as features go, so you're probably getting thrown off by how much more time Jon Snow needs to be spent on compared to Daenerys Targaryen.

Yes, that's true. Sometimes when I've colored everything then it looks completely different.
And it's true that Daenerys is so much easier to draw. I love to draw her hair!^^

OK, where is the on/off switch because young lady you are a MACHINE. Precision of proportions, perspective and of course when applied, foreshortening is inhuman, you have to be machine, or at least cyborg. If talent were a bomb the world would be gone by now because of you.

I think it's more impressive when someone is drawing something right (proportions) without the grid method, but I'm still too lazy to try it without it. I rather like to colour my drawings anyway!
