Another small traditional Loki colour study / practice. I noticed that I haven't drawn a green tint so far and it was about time for another Loki drawing (so I chose one of his scenes in the helicarrier prison cell).
I'm very happy how the colours turned out (except for the scanned colours of the background, because my scanner just hates a perfect turquoise). But it took me ages to draw his eyes, because I've made a few mistakes in the beginning and it was a bit difficult to draw this evil, ice-cold, back-stabbing, mischievous, dismissive, plotting gaze...
Reference was a screencap of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) from the movie "The Avengers" (2012).
Paper DIN A4 190g/mΒ² (size of the drawing = 19,2cm x 12,5cm); Faber-Castell Polychromos artists' colour pencils, Copic Ciao and Sketch marker, uni-ball Signo pigment ink um-153 white; time: >15 hours?

Grid method is more like a "copy" technique. For drawing humans in general I would also recommend an anatomy tutorial here on dA!

how? how did you even do this? this is freaking detailed, so detailed, I looked at your others and though it was just another digital drawing but, then i scroll down and i read, I read small traditional Loki color study. My mind is blown right now, there is just so much detail on these
