Way overdue commission for *Altalamatox .--
I've been working on this for far too long. I think the majority of my frustration with this piece was the composition. It's been months and I'm finally satisfied with the product. <3 I hope she is, too.
And this is part of why my activity has been so lacking.

Oh gawd, this came out SODAMNEDCOOL! 
This is super random, but there was a video game I played as a kid which had a 'haunted' themed world in it and there were these long ghostly things that used to creep the snot out of me which looked almost exactly just like that left distant glow. Yay! Now I will probably dream of that thing hovering over a distant hill tonight! Yay!
No, but the spirits look totally awesome, the way you painted them is simple and very effective. And great balls of shadow energy! Awesome on those as well, and his luminescent peepers and I LOOOOVE that you did the glow of the crystal through his shirt and it looks like it. Thanks for taking on something so special effects heavy for my guy, it's cool to see how you've handled ambiguous things like energy and such.
As for Vlad himself--- dude.

God. The sky is just perfect (gonna sweep those fluffy clouds into my arms) and the contrast of the sharp black-and-red and the softer colors of the background is I WANT TO KISS IT.
GONNA GIVE THIS WHOLE THING A BIG KISS.

I love the detailing on his skin - he looks so grody and disgusting! It's great. I also really love the sky and those crazy flowy spirit things he seems to be summoning.
