Description I am taking an advanced computer course at SCAD right now, and Illustrator is the first program we are using. One of the first assignments was to draw some fruit and use the gradient tool to color it. This was my first submission.

When I saw this image in a thumbnail I thought it was a real photo. I think you have made a great work with simple elements.

Awesome! I didn't believe it was anything but a photograph for a moment, but with a closer eye the style is great. Good bridge between realism and simplicity. Very attractive.

Thanks! I'm actually an employee at SCAD(I work in the frame shop on the Savannah campus), so I am just taking this class to round out my skill set a bit. I'm glad you're at SCAD. I hope your first year is amazing and I wish you good luck in your artistic journey. Your life drawings are really good, by the way.
