Description This is for a contest held by
The theme is a magical blood ritual.

The central image is from CB_3D_Stock_01_By_Cb_Stock.
The back ground images are from Ruins background 3 and Texture 1. The ruins are superimposed over the texture to create a window like effect and to give the ruins a texturized old looking pattern.

The clothing, wings, background moon, and filigree crown are all my creations.

Hi lisa! how's it goin?

This looks really good mate. Her face is very void of expression which is perfect for the ritual going on. I like the red coming from her hands and the blood splotches.

Hey Jade!
I'm really swamped at the moment. I'm having to put together a book for my mom and run it off using photoshop and I've been scanning Uber amounts of old pictures into my computer for it. It's due this weekend so .......... I've been up til about 4am the last two nights trying to complete it. Next week I'm going to Dallas/Fort Worth for a horse show for three days. My cousin qualified for the World competition. ( Uber Elite only like 150 people from all over the world actually get to make it to this competition in reining and pleasure horses.) So, we shall see how she does. She will be competing against some people from Australia too ........ So, we shall see how she does.

Thanks for the comments on the picture. Lol I still have to get used to this style of art lol. It feels soo much like cheating. The deadline is Monday at noon. Hopefully I can get this book completed by then and after that paint my butt off for the second entry. :hugs: I should be back sometime around Thursday. Unless of course the hotel we stay at has internet access.

Wow that should be awesome at the horse show, those riders sure are skilled. Not like me, I just bump around on the back and fall off ocassionally lol! I hope your cousin does well! Fingers crossed!

I know what you mean re: cheating. In the angel ones, I like how they turned out, but my sense of achievement wasn't as high as if the whole thing was painted from scratch by me.

Good luck for the comp! Catch up with ya soon matey!

I think I like this verison better. I normaly like black and white, but I think the color in this one gives it more depth.

Thanks, I like the colored version too sort of how the moon and lighting works with the dress! BTW sorry if I didn't mention it before, but I just found out that my cousin made the World Competition in reining and pleasure horse. They are holding it in Dallas/Fort Worth this year so I will be down there for the next 3 days. I just wonder how she will do (crossed fingers) she will be going up against about 150 other people from all different countries.

Well, 199 was her score shrug not as good as it could of been, but Rosie's Sweet Juice (Rosie) had a stress fracture on the left front leg 3 weeks ago so...... she has been taking it a bit easy on the slide stops. Canda won with a score of 224 a beautiful bay mare she just looked like she was floating across the arena. I'm not sure what class you are under with the pictures you have shown me it looks like you are probably with hunting or steeple chase or jumping not sure which.

Well she didn't do too bad. Do you know what place she came in? Was Rosie ok to be competing that soon?

I do jumpers and hunters. Jumpers on my horse and hunters on the lesson program's horses.

I think it was like 17th over all, but she did get a scholarship by placing in the top 20. Yeah she had been off for 3 weeks and the vet had wrapped her leg for 2 and had been monitoring her closely to see how she would do. If he had not cleared her to go then she would of scratched. Ah nod nod I didn't get to stick around for that part of the program because we had to get Rosie washed and braided. However, I would of liked to.

That's great that she got a scholarship! You've probably told me before, but how many people were competing in her devision?
I always love watchin the jumpers, it facinates me since I don't jump anywhere near the height that they do yet.

150 people from all over the world. So, 17th place really isn't all that terrible if you look at it as 17th out of 150.

Thanks Ben! The blood is really easy to do just use the smudge tool and put some blobs of red paint around and smear them.

Laugh maybe I should send some of Ace's shoe fetish toys. Funniest thing, I came in the other day, and I keep most of my thongs and outside shoes in a clothes basket and I was looking for him and he wasn't in his crate or in his bed and guess where I find him SOUND a sleep. In the shoe basket, on his back with all four paws in the air.

Well, I was going with the silver version as well more true to the old silver screen horor flicks of Boris Carloft and the like! I'm glad you like this one better. I think it makes a more dramatic representation with the contrast of the blood and flesh. Thanks so much for the comment!
