Yet another dream.
In a golden-marble hall there were people merging with portals and closed doors, suspended in liquid gold with pastel-coloured pearls swirling around them in said liquid. They were famished and crazed, going without sleep nor food for days on end. They barely spoke, and even those who wanted to leave, were at this point unable to. Apparently this was some sort of game for people in this universe, and these were its addicted consumers. My adventures called me elsewhere, but these poor souls are what I remember the most.
This particular individual was in an early stage, but already pretty far gone mentally.
