Luca, Alberto, and Giulia as older teenagers! Along with some headcanons:
LUCA is the shortest and the chubbiest of the group, taking after his parents and grandmother. He loves to study both Astronomy and Art History, and spends his summers going back and forth between staying at his parent's place and Portorosso.
ALBERTO is the tallest and lankiest, but he's got some lean muscle in there somewhere. He helps Massimo with the fishing business but during the spring/summers he enjoys doing his lifeguard gig. Other times he does odd jobs around town.
GIULIA is just several inches taller than Luca, and has gotten more square and muscular as she's grown. She helps Alberto and her father with the fishing business when she's home for the summer, but also helps kids register for the Portorosso Cup whenever it rolls around. She also likes learning about Astrology but also has a budding interest in Marine Biology as well.
After Luca and Giulia finish their secondary education (aka high school) they decide to take a year off from school or thinking about University. Alberto was really happy to see them for the whole year.
Reef sea monsters (Luca & his family) often have more flexible tails than those who live in the open ocean (like Alberto). Luckily, the stiffer tail means Alberto can swim over long distances quite easily!
also luca & alberto are gay dating and all 3 of the underdogs are autistic thank you and goodnight
