Description
Berserk is an example of incredibly well crafted storytelling, this dark medieval-fantasy weaves thru classic themes of betrayal, loss and redemption. It's so Shakespearean but still manages to harness the juvenile appeal of gore and action that most modern Anime just wield around carelessly. I'm interested but I have just one question. Is the "gore" just blood? I'm fine with just blood but if it's anything under the skin then I have a problem.

It's a fantastic and unique story. But unfortunately, I wouldnt recommend it for someone who doesnt like dark themes/elements or doesnt have a tough stomache. Berserk is quite unique in that regard and the gore honestly lends to the ambience of the environment. I believe it to be necessary.
