Edit3: I wish people would love these as much as everyone else's Italy models...Edit2: Heads added.
Edit: Over 75 views and only one person has bothered to try and guess? I suppose headless models are just a little too confusing. So screw the guessing game, I'll just tell you. From left to right, the models will be: Romano, Feliciano, Lucius (excerpts exclusive chara).
The credits will be given on the finished model.
The mesh for them is almost completely done, we just need to get heads ready and resize. The 2 that are going to be distributed will go through some beta testing (sorry, I've already selected the beta tester) before they are released.
Yes, I've finally got Italy and Romano (and the excerpts-exclusive character Lucius) to an acceptable level of completeness to show you guys.
I genuinely hope that you guys will use these models when they're complete ;A;

I'm glad you like them ;w; not many people like my models and instead like the crappier stuff put out just because the user is popular. (I'm not like bashing on them, more like I downloaded the model and it had so many freaking flaws, plus you could easily see the flaws). On a side note, this WIP is outdated, the newer ones should be in my gallery, as well as a couple video demos.

And i know what do you mean by the flaws. i recently downloaded some, models of a user they was, TDA.
They was just amazing!! when i was gonna look, it had some glitches kinda noticeable. she didn't even, bothered to fix it. and then she, posted it. Oh well..
There's not so many good, mmd users out there anymore.
I mean, i'm not good either but, i try my best to not make the, flaws and glitches be noticed.

It's more in western made Hetalia MMD models that I see a ton of problems in, I've seen plenty of Vocaloid or Oc or other anime based models that are pretty good. And thanks!
As in flaws, it's like they didn't even bother to deal with rigging/physics/bones/joints issues and just made it look pretty, and in one case, just churned out something that vaguely even looked like the character just to get views.

I was looking about, Aoki Lapis and stuff, then i saw that. the person just took miku removed her hair and added something (It kinda, looked like a puke. lol sorry if i, look mean but it did. DX ) to be her hair, and that person, even made her tan. like, Aoki is not tan at all.. and, no problem ~

I've put out a new WIP of them, and let's hope that more people will appreciate them. Right now I have determined that the community has to earn the right to download these models.

Don't blame your popularity on the rest of the community. Just because you aren't popular/make good enough edits doesn't mean you can go bash on everyone else.
Want critique? All of them have the same face. The pants are pretty low poly, find some better ones. Jackets aren't supposed to be glossy. Italy's hips are waaay too tiny. Change Lucius's shirt, its 3DCG and not many people like 3DCG. Same goes for the texture on the pants, it's not that good.

Really? You call that critique? "The same face and shitty textures"? Oh wow. Yep that's a big problem. Especially considering it's a freaking WORK IN PROGRESS or did you not realize that's what WIP means? By the time they're finished anything crappy will be removed and the faces will all be distinguishable. Also who gives a fuck about polygon count anyway? Only idiots who like to argue over graphics. If you want to do that go join a discussion about console vs PC gaming. Oh, and before you go and bash anymore on Lucius' design I suggest you compare the model to this drawing of him: [link]
Parts are hard to come by in the MMDC, let alone GOOD ones that are LEGAL. If you're going to nitpick so much, the least you could also do is provide assistance in finding such rare, high quality parts.

While I respect your attempt to help her, I want to point out a few things.
1. I have informed her about the jacket thing. It can be fixed easily so there is no problem in editing that.

Have you ever considered thinking about how difficult it is to find certain parts? ESPECIALLY for male models? That are also LEGAL? Most of the time it requires hard, very time-consuming searching. And just when you've found the prettiest ones, they don't always fit. No matter how much you re-size them. So you have to go searching AGAIN. I'm having this problem as I'm trying to make my first model now.. And it's FEMALE, by the way.

I do understand that. And sometimes you got to make due with what you have. I told her the texture of it is a little shotty. And yes, they DO fit, you can always edit them to fit. Sometimes people just don't want to go and work that hard.

And thank you for the critique. I will certainly consider what you've said, but I'd like to point out a couple things that I think you've overlooked.
First being this WIP is just that, a WIP and even now it is slightly out of date. By the time I am finished their faces won't all be completely identical. They are characters that are closely related family though, so doesn't it make sense that they'd share a similar basic face shape? And I noticed your profile says you work with a bit of MMD, so you must be familiar with how difficult it is to get male parts.
I've already dealt with the jacket, and I plan to resize the pants on Feli. As for the poly count on the pants, as an IT graduate let me say that polycount isn't everything with a model. Although, if you can show me where to find some hi-poly pants that are for MALES and LEGAL to use then I'd gladly consider them.
I will not change Lucius' shirt. That is a big fat NO. I don't really care that it's 3DCG, because his character's design belongs to a friend and that shirt is the closest to what he actually wears. They picked it out specifically. A lot of people may not like 3DCG parts, but if you look around on DA, that's what you see the most of. However I've seen plenty of examples that 3DCG parts can turn into something lovely if you put some effort into it. Take this recent project that my friend did: [link] She used mostly 3DCG parts on her model and they all turned out very nice.

Polycount matters because if you take a hi-poly face and lo-poly clothes and smack them together, it's gonna look weird. I'm familiar with how hard it is to find parts, but if you set your mind to it, you can make them yourself. You can merge parts together, you know that? Take small parts from models and other parts from another and merge them?
You can still change Lucius's shirt if you did that. Merged parts together?
3DCG looks bad on almost any model. Even the hair, a majority of the time. My opinion of that model you linked, while it's idea is nice, doesn't really look that good. It's very cluttered and the hair just doesn't fit. The hair looks frozen.
It's only my opinion, but what is fact is that you cannot just let other people get to you if they don't want to use their stuff. If people don't like it, so be it. You may have worked 2 hours on it, you may have worked 200 hours on it, but that won't change people. If people are forced to use it, most likely they'll just use it once and then leave it.
No offense, but it's probably whats happening.

Yes I know that there are ways to merge shit together in Pmde but I am not the world's greatest PMDe user so I'm limited to what I can do with my abilities. This stuff here is done with the very best that I can manage, and it's still not good enough is what I feel like you're saying.
I will NOT change Lucius' shirt. There's no way I'll ever be able to cobble together anything more exact than what he has now.
These are not trying to be hyper-realistic models. They are supposed to be kind of anime-styled.

The thing is...when I started these projects...I started it with a dream. A dream of giving a gift to the Hetalia MMDC: Models with lax rules and that look as good as they possibly can, as an alterative to the Japanese models so people don't have to worry about upsetting Roco, Hana, and all the other model makers by violating their rules. But from what I've seen so far, it feels like people are taking my gifts and shitting on them. And that HURTS after I've put so much care and love into making these...

You can't always expect people to do what you want them to do. Some people will want the models and some people won't. That's MMD, and, dare I say, that's pretty much life. And like I've said before to you, it takes a long time for some people to figure out what they'd like to do with a model.

Well there's my china model, it's been out for 4 months, and I have only ever seen it used in about 5 pictures...out of 100+ downloads, some of which happened when it was first released. And there's also the fact that I notice when some of the more popular model makers release a wip, they get 23098490238590234809234 people fawning over it within a DAY, I'm lucky to get 10, even if my picture goes to all the same groups. =/ So there must be SOMETHING about mine that is obviously less appealing.

Well, I can't force other people to use them, but you can be sure I will. The world is full of sheeple, unfortunately. Many of the western MMD users are so after the japanese models that they forget anyone else can use PMD Editor. I'll wait for these, and they'll be one of the first models I use. These and your China model. Keep up the good work!

I know, but for some reason everyone flocks to the models that either have childishly chubby faces, or ones that look like the japanese models. I honestly prefer original, decent looking models like these, which is why I'm willing to wait for them. Sorry if I was confusing, I should probably re-read these things before I add them.

This isn't 'for nothing' because there are people waiting to use these models. These models, not the ones someone else made.
