The colours and lighting on this is absolutely beautiful. Only point of critique from me is perhaps how thin the tail is, and also the ends of the hair. I'm not sure what you use to paint in the strokes, but if its with a mouse, I have to point out you do a remarkably good job with overall flow. The ends should definitely taper off more though - perhaps smudge them out, or set the 'fade' function on the brush next time?

Yea, I use a laptop mousepad. It's horrible to cut and paint with, but I have nowhere to even rest a mouse never mind a tablet if I had one

Oh good grief. In that case, seriously, KUDOS to you.
The last time I took my laptop home to China where we didn't have any computer gear whatsoever, and decided to manip, I almost died from the stress of cutting out anything, much less painting with it.

You get used to it, the only issue is when you accidently touch somewhere else and WHAM! You have a random line somewhere XD And the fiddly little details take forever. It is do-able though =]

Oh boy! They're nice to look at, but try to care of one, they are a handful. If you don't know what you're doing, they get fickled.
