A Note to the wary - Hetalia is in no way meant to be taken seriously, nor are the characters portrayed supposed to be serious representations of what each country and it's citizens are actually like (they are made of stereotypes and exaggeration). In short : IT'S A COMIC.

I was going to upload this last Sunday, but decided it was a tad inappropriate to cartoonify a country on the day of one of its biggest tragedies, so...

Now, it wouldn't be entirely correct to say I've been into this series for several months - when the anime was announced back in October (I believe), I thought the premise sounded simultaneously the single best and worst idea for a manga/anime ever... and proceeded to look it up to binge on a few of the comics.

Then I kind of forgot about it due to the busy schedule that is my life. X-mas solved that, mind you, SO HERE I AM. Been working on and off this for several weeks (being the first meme I've done in full colour with the pallet mostly taken from the man himself ).

ENJOY MY PAIN.

[1] I am... seriously, really not patriotic in the least. I also apparently fail at being British (with the exception to drinking a lot of tea... AND SPELLING THINGS CORRECTLY.) And yes, I hate fish and chips.
[2] Because the world SERIOUSLY needs more yandere. And N.Italy is endearingly useless. And Germany is lovely. I wanted to add Austria but ran out of room...
[3] Having said that, Germany/Italy = YES. However, there is a serious shortage of Russia/America which needs rectifying at a the nearest opportunity.
[4] Australia <3 Has inherited England's eyebrows and foul mouth... Loves being outdoors... And is friendly with most of the other countries, but can be blunt in a well-meaning kind of way. His outfit is based loosely off this (awesome hats).
[5] Why yes, I do read the news on a daily basis. This is from this rather optimistic piece of news ... Though I very nearly scrapped that in favour of this piece , because... Germany and England with love letters?
[6] YES, I AM TOO LAZY TO DRAW THE GAME MYSELF, SO SUE ME.
[7] What would solve all of Canada's problems? Could it be a name tag, per chance?
[8] IT'S RAINING RUSSIANS.

Take if you like Hetalia and haven't done this yet.

*EDIT* Moved to scraps because holy crap this is like a year and a half old and so outdated (with the exception of Russia still being my favourite character, my love for Germany/Italy, and, of course, the fact I am British. Wot wot.) May be re-doing it at some point, when I get like... a week to spare.

Also if I get one more comment along the lines of 'lol but there's an official Oz' I will break a wall. Check the date, guys. This thing is pretty damn old, and pre-dates a lot of the more recent official characters. Cheers.
