Thank you for taking an interest ^^Β Β  I'd be very interested in what your impression of the painting is..
I really like the turquoise part, the surrounding reds could have been blended better though..
Here you can see the turquoise part up close if you likeΒ  Waakvlam

My impression of the painting if my whole childhood, seriously. When I look at the yellow part, I can feel the sunshine on my face while I had to go to kindergarten, I also can hear the unpleasant noises of other children on the playground, because of the red part, I can hear loud noises of adults near me all the time, and also the kitchen odours at home, and my warm blanket which meant the only escape for me during any stressful day. When I look at the turquoise part, it's like my dad, my grandma, and all kind of family members who tends to sit a lot in one place, something solid and calm, but still characteristic. All in all, as a mixture of good and bad memories, this painting is my childhood.

Nice, feels like vibrant sunset in fog with beautiful old fashioned streetlights. For some reason I see London in there, not that I've ever seen London described as red. Or maybe it's area of White Chaped during Jack the Ripper murders? I dunno where these assiations come from xD

I'm not even sure what that area looks like..
Do you have a reference picture?

No, not really, my image of White Chapel is formed most of all by thriller novels and murder games, it was more like an impression really xD
